oil on gallery wrap canvas
12'' x 16"
This is the last of four new paintings recently shipped to Stricoff Fine Art. It's a variation of the Ice Water composition I sent to Wynne/Falconer for our fall show. When I rotated the jug, the colors shifted from blue to this wonderful muted ochre. So, I had to do it again. Beautiful use of color! You've really captured the texture and translucency of ice, wonderful work!!
ReplyDeleteThe colours and detail in this piece is stunning. I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteLove the copper colour up towards the neck of the jug. As usual very nice work
ReplyDeletestunning! And excellent work with that ice :)
ReplyDeleteHey Neil,
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Chatham and checked out you and Karens work at the Wynn/Falconer. I was nose-to-canvas with your stuff...it's even more impressive that way. My wife wants to buy one of Karens paintings.
Hope you're well.
Best,
Todd
