Resting Legs

oil on 1/4'' hardboard panel
6'' x 6''

bidding has ended for this painting

Here are the same womans legs, seen in an earlier post dipping toes into a stream, now back home resting upon the white sheets of her bed. A nap following a hot afternoon down by the creek.

My Gosh, Neil, You are such a master! You have no idea how inspiring your work is. I love this. Thank you for taking the Leap into art. We're all so grateful.

There's something about the way you cropped her legs, and the fact that she's sleeping, that adds a bit of Hitchcockian intrigue to the image. Or, maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Neil,
Nice to see you have a blog site. Very nice. I like your figurative work. Do you mind if I add you to my blog? Take care Neil.

Legs as a still life...brilliant! I think the composition is outstanding, too.
