Cherry Bag

oil on premire gallery wrapped canvas
10'' x 10"

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to put up some, or possibly all, of the paintings I was planning to present for my January show at the Twinhouse Gallery. This way I could show the relationship between the "studies", and the completed paintings in a single venue. My goal is to have approximately 20 of these 10 x 10 paintings for the show. I don't know if I can complete that many or not, with only six weeks left. I need to get to work.

I paint cherries quite a bit, but I've never placed them in a cellophane bag before.

If you are interested in purchasing this painting prior to the show click here for contact information for Twinhouse Gallery. If you do purchase the painting, it cannot be picked up or shipped until the show has completed its' run. Purchase Info

Absolutely lovely.

What made you decide to do some of the work on panel and some of the work on canvas? Will there be an issue with this at the gallery, like with continuity? Or are you attaching the panel to stretcher bars to approximate the depth of the premier wrap canvas?

Hi James,
Love your paintings. All of them. Great craft. Please tell me that these are not daily paintings. (!)
Have you heard of Antonio Lopez-Garcia?
Check out this link. You may like him.

Love the plastic. Wonderful.

I got some plastic bags at the grocery to attempt this type of thing, and wouldn't let the clerk handle them, for fear of too many wrinkles before even starting the setup.

I originally intended to build panel boxes for each painting, but time was running out fast, so I decided to buy stretched canvas. Paulo, the paintings listed as gallery paintings are definitely not PAD's, but some (not all) of the ebay listed paintings are.
