Maxie

Karen and I lost the heart of our home on Saturday. Max was our therapist, confidant, playmate and best friend.

oh so so sorry for your loss. They do make places in our hearts, don't they?

So sorry for your loss, they are family and just because they are a pet doesn't make it hurt any less.

Neil, I'm so truly sorry and feel deeply for you and Karen. I always wonder if our animals can recognize the depth of our feelings for them or if they have any sense of how incredibly important they are in our lives. Maxie's spirit is not gone.

So so sorry. He does have the look of a buddy. Go in peace, Max.

Had a bad scare with our 15 y.o. poodle last week. We were preparing for that huge loss as well. Hope that you and Karen can stay focused on all the good times you had with Max as you heal.

So so sorry for your loss. Neither I will use the word animal nor pet for Max. But I would like to use your words like best friend and playmate. Its all because of their sense and depth of feeling that they become alive in our minds. Max is not gone.
