City of Charleston No.2: Mule in Progress - Post 3
I went ahead and painted the first pass of the rigging under the mules neck and then laid in the neck itself up to the collar. Today it's back to more rings, buckles and straps.
Wonderful detail. Thank you for showing your progress. I find it interesting to see how you paint "sections" as opposed to putting a series of layers on the entire horse and then coming back to work on the detail of the rigging. Again, thanks for posting updates. It helps those of us who are learning to paint.

Hey Breezy Pointe - This is the first layer. There will be another full layer and possibly a third. It just depends on how the second layer goes.
