Coke Classic In Progress: Day 6

Coke Commission  |  24 x 24  |  Oil on panel  |  Day 6

I've got three more days into the Coke commission. At this point the first pass on all of the bottles is finished and I've done a little work on the carton. Today I'll start to work on the table top and when that's completed then I'll go back to work on the carton. Once the first pass is done on the entire composition I'll start back on the full bottle and begin to work my way to the right. I work from top left to bottom right. Not sure why but always have.

I can't wait to see how you paint the "full" bottle. Your work is of course amazing. Love watching your progress.

I can't believe how realistic looking your bottles are. And to think that they're not even finished - can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

James, are you still working the first layers in acrylic? Or have you started on the oil layers? And thanks for posting your work in progress. Love it!

Actually, the only acrylic was the type and the red of the carton. Everything else is oil.

I hope some day i can paint like you. I like a lot the hyperrealistic painting.

I have started no so long ago in oil painting and soon in acrylics and there is my blog.
