The next painting I think will offer many opportunities for detail images. Have 'toyed' with various subjects for some old billhead paper I acquired several months ago that included line items for tin toys, blocks and marbles. I just haven't stumbled on any in visiting antique shops that really fit the bill quite yet.

This one - Stacked Blocks - is really a keeper.MrCachethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17380421021822593083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32334401.post-7015120877868996482011-03-03T21:40:54.218-05:002011-03-03T21:40:54.218-05:00amazing paintings!!!amazing paintings!!!Brian David MacNeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03094698808791010801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32334401.post-80014050494286871012011-03-03T16:56:33.374-05:002011-03-03T16:56:33.374-05:00I wish I could have been the first to post, becaus...I wish I could have been the first to post, because I would have said the very thing that Jeremy did. There is something intrinsically beautiful about older things - especially ones that have lasted over time and they really do make wonderful subjects for paintings The way that you present them in your paintings is both interesting and real.Jeremy Pearsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17145759344088689647noreply@blogger.com
